		Antonio Ruyan, editor in chief of the Catholic church-run Abra Today, said Abra school paper advisers, in a recent seminar-workshop, revealed that one of the major problems of their staff members was the lack of typewriters.
		Abra Rep. Luis Bersamin and his United States-based sister donated two portable typewriters, while a defunct typing school in Metro Manila donated seven used typewriters.

		Bangued’s rural sanitary inspectors and midwives collected 14 samples from different areas from faucets and refilling stations of Bangued that were sent to San Fernando City for laboratory analysis.
		Due to the findings, the health department asked the Sangguniang Bayan (SB, or municipal council) of Bangued to pass an ordinance requiring all refilling stations and the BWD to conduct regular water analysis and provide result to the local health authorities, as well as supervise improvement and maintenance of other water sources such as deepwells.
