The Sqn only recced from LA LANDE to Mt PINCON a total distance of about 5 miles, but nearly all of this was in contact with the enemy and in very close country.
I was trying to pass through LA BELLE EPINE and was held up in that area by Infantry across the road just South and was heavily shelled without result.
