The Baptist Conference of the Philippines is an association of Baptist churches in the Philippines that is affiliated with the Baptist General Conference.
The Cebu Baptist Association was formed in 1954, and became the Baptist Conference of the Philippines in the 1960s.
In 1995, the Conference had 10,315 members in 172 churches.

Christian Education in the Philippines dates back to its first colonizers, the Spanish conquistadores, who brought with them in 1521 their political system that was closely intertwined with their religion, an education that taught the Catholic doctrine, medical mission and social services.
Higher education during the period was purportedly aimed at the democratization of the Philippines according to American patterns, with emphasis on self-government, the propagation of the English language, the promotion of the dignity of labor, and the initiation of mass education as the base of enlightened democracy.
Another seminary that made a dent in the history of Christian Education in the Philippines was the St. Andrews Seminary that was established in the 1930s under the Episcopal Church in the Philippines.

While the ideal Conference Baptist shares the feeling of the Apostle Paul that he is far from having reached full spiritual maturity, he is pressing on toward that goal in the light of New Testament standards which constitute a dynamic uplifting influence upon his life.
But the mission of the Baptist General Conference is to lead an increasing number of people throughout the world to begin this journey by personal commitment to Jesus Christ and then to assist all to grow in the achievement of these spiritual goals.
Conference Baptists have served all over the world, but the field that has held interest and support by the greatest majority of churches began with Burma, and continued into China, India, Japan, Ethiopia, Philippines, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, and on to the new fields of today in France and Thailand.

My name is Joe Haden and I was saved at Decatur Baptist Church on October 17, 1971 under the ministry of Lamar Ingle and was soon involved in soul winning and assisting in the sixth-grade boys Sunday School.
Tammy was previously involved in Mentoring Mothers Class and is still involved in discipling and teaching young mothers to be Godly encouragers for their husbands and faithful in training their children for the Lord.
We have been involved in missions trips for discipleship and evangelism to the countries of Mexico, the Philippines, Germany, Romania, Honduras, the United States and two survey trips to Zambia in 1999 for four weeks and again in 2004 for five weeks with missionaries Bobby Bonner, Bob Hayton and Steve Richards.

Pastor Jovito Brasileno, Pastor of the Bible Baptist Church of Butuan City (it is five hours north of Davao City by car), invited me to speak for their Family Conference on May 6th to the 9th.
I spoke each night of the conference and was thrilled because of the good attendance and the many decisions made by the men and ladies of his church.
All of those who attended camp from our church were already saved, baptized members of M.A.B.C., so there were no decisions for salvation.

These are my reactions, observations of the District Conference in our District, held in Calvary Baptist Church, Dumaguete City on April 25-27, 2006 with Rev. Dale Rott, Rev. Gonzalo Olojan and Rev. Ildefonso Alfafara, the General Secretary of the Baptist Conference of the Philippines as the speakers.
The film was really perfectly fitted for the theme of the conference since it deals about the life of the Apostle Paul.
The young people were in-charge of the Praise and Worship of the entire conference, the women attended the women's activities where they shared a short drama and an interpretative dance.
