 Current Students (The Canadian Baptist Archives) - McMaster Divinity College
Baptists in Ontario and Quebec established an historical collection in 1865 when the Canadian Baptist Historical Society was founded.
The mandate for the present collection of the Canadian Baptist Archives is derived directly from the constitution of that early attempt to preserve the history and the records of Canadian Baptists.
Currently, the collection is supervised by the Director of the Canadian Baptist Archives as an employee of the Divinity College, and staffed with a part-time archivist and student assistants.

Baptists believe that, to be true to the meaning of the Greek word, baptizo, (to immerse or dip,) baptismal candidates should be buried in water and raised up, as our Lord was buried in the tomb and raised from the dead for our salvation.

29/6/00: Carmel Logos Baptist Church (so as all other BCOQ churches) received an invitation letter from the Ecumencial Central Organization Committee to participate a Millennium Interdenominational Worship Service of praise and prayer celebrating 2000 years of Christianity at Nathan Phillips Square on Septermber 17, 2000.
The Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec is one of the participants, thus, all BCOQ churches are invited to join as well.
12/9/00: Carmel Logos Baptist Church invited Dr. Ken Bellous and other BCOQ representatives (Ken invited Roger Smith and Rev. Warren Lai) to meet with the church board.
