The eastern boundary of Tryon County was approximately five miles west of the present city of Schenectady, and the county included the western part of the Adirondack Mountains and the area west of the West Branch of the Delaware River.
Niagara County is in the extreme western part of New York State, just north of Buffalo and adjacent to Lake Ontario on its northern border and the Niagara River and Canada on its western border.
The southern boundary of Niagara County is Erie County with the boundary marked by Tonawanda Creek.

Her father, William Barker was killed in the Civil War and the 1865 Census (taken 6/6/1865) of Porter Town (ship), Niagara County shows Angelia to be age 8, living with her Grandfather, William Barker and Grandmother Cahterine in a frame house valued at $800.
Angelia's Aunt Margaret E. Barker married Ira Brown on May 6, 1846 and died Sept. 18, 1890 according to Almerin Barker's family Bible which is presently in the hump back trunk in the writer's basement.

The station, closed since 1959, had reverted to the Village of Barker and had been used for equipment storage.
