Barn Elms is an open space in Barnes in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.
It is located on the northerly loop of the River Thames between Barnes and Fulham.
Barn Elms Wetlands Centre (105 acres of what were once reservoirs) lies to the north of the open space, now largely given over to sporting venues.

Barnes Rugby Football Club, formerly known simply as the Barnes Club, is a rugby union club which is claimed by some sources to be the world's first and oldest club in any code of football.
The club, from Barnes in London, also played a major role in the early years of Association football (soccer), and was one of the teams in the first ever game of soccer.
The Barnes Club was a founder member of the Football Association and Morley is often said to be the "father of The Football Association".
