The London Borough of Bexley is a London borough in southeast outer London.
The River Thames is its northernmost boundary with the London Borough of Havering.
The borough was formed in 1965 by the merger of the Kent boroughs of Bexley, and Erith and the Crayford urban district, and half of Chislehurst and Sidcup Urban District.

Peter Mayhew (born May 19, 1944 in Barnes, London, England) is a British/American actor, best known for playing the Wookiee Chewbacca in the Star Wars movies.
Before getting into acting, Mayhew worked as an orderly at London's King's College Hospital.
He received his first acting job in 1977 when the producers of the movie Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger discovered Mayhew from a photograph in a newspaper article about men with large feet, and they cast him in the role of the minotaur.

Mr Tran was a Vietnamese national who had been staying with friends in Hanworth, west London.
A man, aged 31, and two women, aged 34 and 19, were arrested in connection with the murder and have been bailed until November.
