		However, the event took a serious turn during a heartfelt speech by Battle of Normandy Veteran, the Honourable Barnett J. Danson.
		He told the story of 60 years ago, bringing the faces of lost comrades to each veteran’s eyes, inducing a hush in the room that almost told the story of that infamous June 6 day.
