Baron Brabourne, of Brabourne in the County of Kent, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom.
Lord Brabourne had assumed by Royal license the additional surname of Hugessen (which was that of his maternal grandmother) in 1849.
His eldest son, the sixth Baron, was killed in the Second World War, when the title passed to the latter's younger brother, the seventh Baron, a film and television producer.

The Right Honourable Michael Herbert Rudolf Knatchbull, 5th Baron Brabourne, GCSI, GCIE, MC (8 May 1895–23 February 1939) was a British peer and soldier, the son of the 4th Baron Brabourne.
Knatchbull was elected Conservative MP for Ashford in 1931 and served as Parliamentary Private Secretary to Samuel Hoare, Secretary of State for India, from 1932 to 1933.
In 1933, upon his father's death, he succeeded as Baron Brabourne and was invested as a Knight Grand Commander of the Order of the Indian Empire; he became Governor of Bombay until 1937.

It's neither complete (about two thirds of the letters now known to have survived are included), nor are the texts of the letters necessarily always transcribed with minute scholarly fidelity, but it's out of copyright, and includes many annotations and quaint comments on the letters.
