The Barossa Valley Highway (also known as Barossa Valley Way) is the main road linking most of the major towns of the Barossa Valley in South Australia.
The soil in the Barossa Valley varies considerably – from deep sandy soils on the sloping areas to sandy loam and heavy red-brown clay soils on the flats.
Nestled in the Barossa Ranges at the eastern end of the valley, it has two beautiful parks a small creek flows through its centre and good examples of colonial architecture are dotted throughout the town.
