Jerry V. Bionat, Iloilo Provincial Civil Defense Coordinator, said that as of Tuesday, the oil spill already affected the coastal municipalities of Ajuy, Concepcion and Barotac Nuevo in Iloilo on the bigger Panay island neighboring the Guimaras Island, which was worst hit by the spill.
Meanwhile, three more coastal municipalities in the northern part of Iloilo province are contemplating to declare the state of calamity, said the report.
