		The Barrie Colts name is taken from a team that played in the Ontario Hockey Association prior to WWII.

		But then again i agree with the ottawa fans barrie as a team have no strenght in them to carry on in playoffs.I am a barrie fan 110% but you have to agree that barrie doesn't follow thru with any of their checks, if they make any, and they have NO fighters.
		I think the only reason that the colts are here is because of a few skilled people on the colts team.
