Alice Springs is a large town in the Northern Territory of Australia located at 23°42′S 133°52′E.
Its population of 28,178 (2001 Census) makes it the second-largest settlement in the Territory (the only other towns of significant size are Darwin, the capital, and Katherine).

One of the countless deceptions perpetrated by the notorious Ken Burns TV "documentary" on the war was the omission of most white Southern music — which is certainly as interesting as the Northern and fl music that was used.
While we are at it, there is still a lot to be learned from films such as "The Birth of a Nation" and "Gone With the Wind." The main thing wrong with "Birth" is too favorable a view of Lincoln.
They are also the Americans most loyal to their own region and their own states, and the most likely to remain in their native territory.
