Barry, a Past Grand Knight, and his wife Elizabeth were invited to join the Board as representatives from the Knights of Columbus, Mother Seton Council No. 5381 at Lanham, MD. Mr.
Barry served as Secretary to the Board during 1993-1994 and as Vice Chairman from 1995 until his death.
As Church Activity Chairman for Mother Seton Council in 1974-1975, he organized a statewide Knights of Columbus project to solicit prayers for the canonization of Blessed Elizabeth Ann Seton.

Glenn Seton born May 5th 1965 son of the 1965 Bathurst winner Barry Seton, started his own career in Go-Karts at the age of 14.
In 1990 Glenn won the Sandown 500, and was second in the Nissan 500 at Eastern Creek clinching the Australian Endurance Championship title.
Glenn Seton Racing entered 1996 with Ford Credit as a new sponsor and came third in the ATCC, and second at Sandown's Tickford 500.

The pair were engaged in a dramatic dice for the class win with Barry Ferguson and Bill Ford throughout the day with the battle for the victory coming down to the very last corner.

This is despite the fact that he finished second at the mountain in 1987, the result of a post race disqualification of the former race winners.
Lowndes and Seton maintained a strong car speed throughout the physically demanding 161 lap race, keeping their CAT FPR Falcon out of trouble and on the pace, despite being caught up in numerous close battles from the start of the race until its end - six hours and thirty-two minutes later.
The race was won by Holden drivers Greg Murphy and Rick Kelly, the duo setting a pace that was unbeatable throughout the race, greeting the chequered flag 4.9 seconds ahead of the CAT FPR Falcon, with fellow Ford drivers Steve Ellery and Luke Youlden racing to a popular third place.

The car started out as one of two Mustangs bought to Australia by Don Smith, This car is known as "Abe's Babe" as there is a plate affixed to the dash which is still there today.
Barry Seton built up the car for him and Smith to race at Bathurst in the Group A class in 1984.
At the Shannon’s insurance Queensland Historic race meeting 5and6 August 06, Glenn Seton drove the PinePac Mustang to pole position then carried on to win race one and two with a second in race three after a close battle with Rod Marklands winning Nissan Skyline.
