 | | The next stratigraphic unit, the Nidzica Beds, in the boring Olsztyn IG-1 is characterized by a sharp increase of kaolinite content from (5 to 50%) and by a slow decrease of montmorillonite from (35 to 10%) upwards in the section. |
 | | In the more thoroughly studied section of the boring Bartoszyce, the amount of zircon is almost stable (14.4-18.6%), meanwhile the amounts of almandine and rutile increase in the upper part of the section and near its top abruptly decrease to 4.2% and 12.4%, respectively. |
 | | In the Bartoszyce Beds (Nida Formation) of the boring Olsztyn IG-1 the content of almandine decreases upwards in the section from 31.8% to 7.6%, while the concentrations of zircon and rutile+anatase slightly increase. |
