		Eccezionale all'interno è il Presepe in ceramica di Caltagirone, eseguito da Giuseppe Bongiovanni Vaccaro nel 1882.
		Già sappiamo d’una prima distruzione avvenuta nel 1454; i terremoti del 1631 e del 1693 compirono il resto; ma molto rimase degli antichi fabbricati religiosi, almeno quei ruderi di pietra, i dipinti ed altre vestigia, documenti che ci hanno consentito tale congetturale ricostruzione.
		Ultimo altare: Cappella di San Giovanni: pregevole ed armonioso insieme di stucchi rilevati, opera del menzionato scultore palazzolese Sebastiano Giuliana; lo stile classico rifulge in tutti gli elaborati e soprattutto nei due stupendi angeli che sovrastano il tronetto.
