		The Batman family is an informal name for a group of DC Comics characters, allies, and superheroes associated with the costumed crime fighter Batman.
		Batman's rogues gallery is notable for characters such as Catwoman, Talia, and The Riddler, who function both as allies and as villains.
		Batman was shown in Batman: The Animated Series as having had a relationship of some sort with Zatanna, the daughter of Zatara the Magician, the man who had taught Bruce Wayne everything he knew about escape artistry.

		Batman (originally referred to as the Bat-man, and still sometimes as the Batman) is a DC Comics fictional character and superhero who first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May 1939.
		Batman's evolution continues through the late 1980s, notably with 1988's "A Death in the Family" storyline, for which DC Comics created a 900 number for readers to call to vote on whether Jason Todd lived or died.
		Batman's first intercompany crossover is with Marvel's Hulk in the 1981 Marvel and DC Presents: Batman vs the Incredible Hulk, in which the two fight the Joker and the Shaper of Worlds.

		A Death in the Family is a solid tale of the Dark Knight seeking justice for the death of Jason at the hands of the Joker, but just about everything about this story comes off as lame.
		What saves A Death in the Family worthwhile (somewhat) is the emotional impact of the outcome, and the solid art by Jim Aparo is a nice touch, but if it weren't for the impact this would leave on the Batman mythos, this wouldn't be worth picking up at all.
		Batman rushes to save him but it's too late and the Boy Wonder is finally annihilated in an exploding warehouse.
