dOc DVD Review: Batman Returns: Special Edition (1992)
Batman Begins is most definitely a better movie, but Batman Returns, director Tim Burton's second stab at the franchise, will likely always be my favorite of the Batman series.
The stars of the show are the villains, who provide the perfect canvas for Burton to paint another unsettling picture of sad, misunderstood, and tortured souls.
Batman Returns is probably a love-it or hate-it affair; upon its initial release, most critics blasted it as meandering and humorless.

The Joker, depending on who's writing him, has two modes: the "murderous clown genius" mode, where he's Batman's deadliest and most wily arch-foe, or the "Rip Taylor unchained" mode, where he's basically a lawless prop comic.
The latter is typified by Caesar Romero's Joker in the old TV series, who once tied Batman to the inside of a giant coffee pot in order to kill him.

I know 'Batman Begins' hasn't even arrived yet and we don't know anything if there'll be sequels or not even though Bale has been signed for a couple more (like Jon D mentioned in the other thread).
There's at least two Villains in Batman Begins, and I already read they might do sequels so I just hope they'll be as good as the originals.
Batman Begins has scarecrow and Ra's Al Ghul so if there was a sequel I want it to have the Mad Hatter and The Riddler and for the third film I want them to put in The Black Widow and Egghead.
