 Camel Timeline 1982_2K
CAMEL participated in the video recording of extra visuals for the broadcast and the pleasure of this experience concluded the year on a high note.
CAMEL wanted to include the entire concert but due to lighting problems on the night of recording, the first half was too dark for Mansfield's approval so only the second half of the performance made it to broadcast and a video cassette.
CAMEL was free to search for a more like-minded record company, yet this newly found freedom also brought a shock to Latimer when he would later remark he "couldn't get arrested with new CAMEL material".

Camel - Biography - AOL Music
Camel's 1982 album, The Single Factor, was a slicker, more accessible affair than previous Camel records, but it failed to chart.
Latimer wasn't able to find a new label because he was embroiled in a difficult legal battle with Camel's former manager Geoff Jukes; Camel eventually won the lawsuit in the late '80s.
By the time Camel recorded their follow-up to Stationary Traveller in the early '90s, the band was, for most intents and purposes, simply Andrew Latimer and a handful of session musicians.

 Battle of Camel
Aisha, on the advice of some of her followers, went so far as to mount her camel, al-Askar and that this battle is called the Battle of Camel, which took place on 10th Jamada II, 35/December 4, 656.
The warrior slipped behind the camel, did as he was bidden, and the camel thudded to the ground.
After the battle, Ali repaired to Aisha's camp, where he treated her with greatest deference, "For," said he, "respect must be shown to her because she is the spouse of the holy Prophet." In the care of her brother, and under the command of his own two sons, Ali then sent Aisha to Medina.

Camel wrestling: The next big thing?
For more than 100 years, camel wrestling has drawn crowds in western Turkey during the winter months, the camel mating season and a time when farmers have little to do on their fields.
Male camels naturally fight for their females during mating season -- their readiness to do battle visible in the white froth coming from their mouths, the tension in their hind legs and their tails whipping at their backs.
For a winner to be declared, one of the camels has to run out of the arena, cry out of frustration after being dominated by the opponent or fall to the ground.
