 Time Commanders - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
After a brief introduction of the battle, including an overview of military units, terrain and available forces, the players have to develop a strategy and then deploy their forces.
Two of the players are selected as generals, who will direct the battle and have access to a strategic map.
Troop deployment and battle follows, although in the second series, there is a small skirmish conducted as a separate event, to acquaint the players with the game mechanics and their units.

Like everytime theres a famous battle(marked in the campaign map with the two crossed swords) it saves the battle and the number, the level and types of units in that battle.
Also when ever one of the battles takes place on the campaign map a pop up comes up and askes you if you want to save it.
Another thing I forgot to mention was in the battle of Guagemela wasn't the land flaten down and everything removed so that the persians could have an advantage with all their chariots.
