The game is elaborate in design, and it does not stray too far from the Battletech universe; the names and locations of the planets are the same as originally shown in the novels.
It was probably due to the fact that I have over 15 novels that take place in the Battletech universe, so I suppose what really drew me in to try out this multiplayer game was that I felt comfortable in the setting.
