		Modelo, of Hinigaran town Negros Occidental, was hit in the chest during the exchange of gunfire with the communist rebels at Sitio Cansingi, Barangay San Jose Batuan town, about 70 km northwest of this city.
		Bohol Governor Erico Aumentado said based on reports he received from the police and the military, Modelo lost a lot of blood and died while being transported to the town proper.
