Mountain Province is a landlocked province of the Philippines in the Cordillera Administrative Region in Luzon.
Mountain Province was also the name of the historical province that included most of the current Cordillera provinces.
This old province was established by the Americans in 1908 and was later split in 1966 into Mountain Province, Benguet, Kalinga-Apayao and Ifugao.

Bagwan publicly announced during the Mountain Province Live Tongtongan PIS radio-TV program that three lawyers had filed their certificates of candidacy for congressman, two for provincial governor, one for vice governor, two for provincial board members and one for municipal mayor.
Mountain Province based on its present voting population is entitled eight regular members of the provincial board.
