 Lower Mamberamo - The Warembori
Marriage is usually with other Warembori speakers; there are no marriage links with the language groups inland of the Warembori (the Anasi and other members of the Bauzi language family, and the Bagusa, a Kwerba language on the Mamberamo).
Some, limited, exchange of wives is found with the Austronesian speakers of the Cenderawasih Bay region, notably the inhabitants of Kurudu island and eastern Yapen island, but this is by far a minority pattern.
Of these, only Kurudu is Austronesian; Yoke is related to Warembori (in the Lower Mamberamo family); Bagusa is a variety of western Kwerba, and Anasi is related to Bauzi and other languages of the hinterland between the Waropen coast and the Mamberamo.

PBS - JAZZ A Film By Ken Burns: Selected Artist Biography - Dizzy Gillespie
In 1939, he joined Cab Calloway's big band, one of the highest-paid fl bands in New York at the time.
While in this group, he began to develop an interest in the fusion of jazz and Afro-Cuban music, largely because of his friendship with Mario Bauzi, who was also in Calloway's band.
During the same period, he was beginning to diverge from Eldridge's playing style both formally, in his solos with the band such as Pickin' the Cabbage (1940), and in an informal context with the group's double bass player Milt Hinton.
