Bay Ferries Limited, referred to simply as Bay Ferries, is a ferry company operating in eastern Canada and the United States and is headquartered in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
This ferry route was initiated in 1955 by the Government of Canada at the insistence of tourism operators and fish exporters in southwestern Nova Scotia.
Bay Ferries entered into a purchase agreement with Incat in Hobart Australia for the Incat 046, a high speed catamaran ferry, and began using the term "The Cat" in logos on the vessel and in Bay Ferries marketing material.

A 24-hour high-speed ferry service ply between DB Pier on Tai Pak Wan and Pier 3 in Central District on Hong Kong Island (journey time of approximately 25-30 minutes; frequency of around 20-30 minutes during day time, up to 90 minutes during night times; additional services are operated during peak/rush hours).
Ferries were the main, and until the opening of the DB Tunnel in 2000, the only way to reach Discovery Bay.
The route between Discovery Bay and Central are served by monohull and catamaran waterjets manufactured by Marinteknik in Singapore; seating 300 and 500 passengers respectively.

Swartz Bay, located on the north end of the Saanich Peninsula on Vancouver Island, is the location of one of BC Ferries' main terminals.

According to the early history of the State, a ferry plied the Bay between Kent Island and points at or near Annapolis, and recurring stories indicate that sketchy preliminary studies were made during the latter part of the 19th century to span the Bay by bridge.
During the forty years prior to construction of the present bridge, while the river boats gave way to motor vehicles, it may be said that Bay ferries were used as temporary expedients until the hope of the years for a fixed bay crossing could be realized.

I guess repeated attempts at contacting ferry board members and  city official from a resident taxpayer (peasant in the kingdom) who is intimately familiar with the project aren't worth even a single response.....
