	Killer Aquarium Shark Released Back to the Ocean \| LiveScience
		The shark was accidentally caught by a halibut fisherman last September and was brought to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to be studied and placed on public exhibit.
		Back in February she attacked two of the soupfin sharks that shared her tank.
		Plans to release her back into the waters south of Monterey Bay were put into motion shortly after the attacks.

		The Monterey Bay Aquarium looks bare today, the void created by the special great white shark, after it was restored into it's natural ocean habitat early on Thursday morning.
		The white shark had been a regional highlight ever since it was caught in August by a fisherman and created history with it being the first ever of its kind to endure confinement in an aquarium for an impressive 198 days.
