Bayambang is bounded on the north by Malasiqui, on the south by Camiling, on the east by Bautista, and on the west by Urbiztondo.
Bayambang is the farthest town south of the province of Pangasinan.
As years passed by, these plants became extinct in the vicinity, but the name "Bayambang" which sounds like an echo of the plant's name, was retained and was given to designate this town.

P’sinan town to receive financial grant from DA By FA A. The municipality of Bayambang, Pangasinan has been chosen as a recipient of a financial grant from the Department of Agriculture (DA) in Region 1, this was bared by Municipal Mayor Leocadio "Boy" de Vera Jr.
Mayor Leo Boy, as he is popularly known to his constituents, said that Bayambang has been very lucky as it has been awarded financial aid from the said national agriculture agency.

While there are around 387,000 passengers who travel daily through the route, including Bayambang, Malasiqui, Calasiao and Dagupan, the BEVA members serve only about 3,000 commuters, he said.

DAGUPAN CITY, Pangasinan -- A public school teacher in Bayambang town, Pangasinan province, filed a rape case against the chief legal officer of the Department of Education in the Ilocos Region after the official allegedly abused her in July.
In her complaint filed before the provincial prosecutor's office in Urdaneta City on Sept. 19, the teacher said Wade Latawan, DepEd regional chief legal officer, raped her in the office of the DepEd Pangasinan division II in Binalonan town.
Latawan said he was able to get a copy of the complainant's daily time record showing that she was in her school in Bayambang until 5:17 p.m.

Since Alcala was founded on September 20, 1875 by virtue of Royal Decree No.682, extensive developments had been introduced to the place, which was formerly a barrio of Bayambang.
