Today, 14 March 2006, the invention was awarded the Nordic Bayer CropScience Innovation Award 2006 at an awards ceremony to be held at the Agro Business Park in Tjele, Denmark, close to the Research Centre Foulum.
Bayer CropScience is a subsidiary of Bayer AG, with an annual turnover of approximately Euro 5.8 billion.
In the Nordic countries, Bayer CropScience is part of Bayer Norden, which employs a staff of 450, with 70 employees at Bayer CropScience.
