Baylor County is a county located in the state of Texas.
Baylor is named for Henry Weidner Baylor, a surgeon in the Texas Rangers during the Mexican-American War.
In the county, the population is spread out with 23.40% under the age of 18, 5.50% from 18 to 24, 21.40% from 25 to 44, 25.60% from 45 to 64, and 24.10% who are 65 years of age or older.
