Beacon Hill is a hill and neighborhood in southeast Seattle, Washington.
Homes in the northern part of the hill were mostly built in the early 1900s, and so North Beacon Hill contains many excellent examples of Craftsman bungalows and "Seattle box houses" (a local variant of the Foursquare style).
According to the United States 2000 Census, the population of Beacon Hill is 22,300, and remains racially diverse: 51% Asian, 20% white, 13% fl, 9% Hispanic/Latino and 7% other.

Christopher Eng, 23, owner and operator of Critters Childcare at Beacon Hill and Kimball elementary schools since September, was arrested last week after a 10-year-old boy told his mother the man had been molesting him for two years.
According to documents filed by prosecutors in King County Superior Court, the boy said the molestation began while he was in the third grade at Kimball and occasionally visited Eng's home for help with homework and for summer programs.
