Hearts Afire -> The 1935-43 Looney Tunes Cartoons
In 1935, one year after graduating to color, Warner Bros.' Leon Schlesinger studio was on the hunt for a bonafide star for its line of cartoons, as its past attempts--Bosko, Buddy, Beans--were forgettable at best.
As color television came into the fray in the late 50s, a firm called Associated Artists bought all Merrie Melodies films from 1931 to 1948 and color Looney Tunes (1943-48) and syndicated the cartoons to TV.
The fl-and-white Looney Tunes films fell into the hands of Sunset Films, who lopped off all original opening and closing titles and any internal material bearing any reference to Warner Bros. Sunset (widely believed to be a Warner Bros. dummy corporation) would syndicated these cartoons under a different package.

 Wordwizard Clubhouse - succotash
Recipes vary, but it tends to be a stew or soup containing sweetcorn, lima or butter beans and often cream.
The first succotash consisting of corn and beans cooked in bear grease was made by American Indians who, incidentally, grew the corn and beans together with the cornstalks serving as bean poles.
Colonists used the word in the early 18th century (first recorded in 1751) and it apparently derives from the Narragnanset Indian (a North American tribe of the Algonquian family formerly located in Rhode Island) and the Massachuset Indian (a tribe formerly located in Massachusetts) languages.
