With the ongoing development of roller coasters around the world, I'm sure that ultimate thrill ride is still out there for me to find.
Cedar Point is the roller coaster capital of the world with a record 17 roller coasters of all kinds - stand up, wooden, steel, suspended, inverted and racing.
The Beast has got to be the granddady of woodies as the longest wooden coaster in the world with 7,400 feet of track, two lift hills, and nearly 4 1/2 minutes ride time.

A standard full-circuit lift-powered coaster works like this: after leaving the boarding area (station), the train is pulled up with a chain or cable along the lift hill to the first peak of the coaster track.
A properly designed roller coaster under good conditions will have enough kinetic, or moving, energy to complete the entire course, at the end of which brakes bring the train to a complete stop and it is pushed into the station.
As of 2005, the roller coaster holding the records for greatest speed and height is Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure with a top speed of 128 mph (193.2 km/h) and a 456 foot (128.1 m) vertical hill.

Every roller coaster ride starts at the bottom, and of course this project was no exception.
Other than a few minor dips in the Stag coaster, with an annoying leak coming from the overdrive unit (that only made itself present in speeds over 75 mph), a carb leak repair and the tightening of a strut, no other items needed attention.
The problem with roller coasters is that while you may get sick sometimes, the ride is still a lot of fun.

Where you sit really makes a difference on this ride (as in all coasters) I prefer the back, beacuse of the increased height on the first drop, and the intense g's you feel when going backwards through the vertical loop.
The front gives you the view of any front car coaster, which is always fun.
Another fun thing to do on this coaster is look up right before you enter the station the last time, seeing it rush toward you from above.
