		The Beat Club was a long running large weekly Friday night party at Capones in Williamsburg Brooklyn, sister to the AllDisco party.
		With that, The Beat Club took on Fridays weekly, but as the theme to both AllDisco and The Beat Club became constantly compromised by the constant requests for 80's hits, the two parties eventually merged and all four DJ's altered between Fridays and Saturdays.
		This left The Beat Club in the hands of PappaWheelie and Rob Uptight, but no theme recovery was in the works for Beat Club as they felt continued pressure to cater to the already attending crowd (defining it as simply as an "Old School Party").

		Its early editions (as Beat Club) and its flashy colour later version (Musik Laden) marked this show out for special reverence.
		It had weirder camera angles than did Ready Steady Go (which was rerunning on UK TV at prime time in the 80s), it had a far wider range of artists, and many, many acts stole my heart and fed my developing musical taste.
