I sense what is implied when the term Beatlesque gets thrown around: a sweet melody with solid guitars and extra flourishes.
Depending on yr perspective, the Beatles are immortalized with the "-esque" suffix because they were the masters of that form or their later work has provoked a rose-colored reinterpretation of the early songs.
In my mind, the term is often followed by "harmonies." It seems that's the one thing that was consistnt through their phases.

There is a site you can go to to hear some of the tunes and I honestly think they are sooooo Beatlish it could be the Boys themselves.

Most of these songs are built around simple piano chords or strummed acoustic, with easygoing, Beatlesque guitar, bass and occasional harmonies draping Kweller...
