After a year hiatus from the game The Beatnuts return to instill their brand of raw hip-hop with their latest opus, Milk Me on Penalty Recordings.
For their 7th release, The Beatnuts return to the funky motif that made their past albums part of hip-hops must-have library.
Gunning to prove that they need not follow the trends of today, the Beatnuts give the streets something to speak on with "U Nahmsayin’", an aggressive ode’ to the most used slang word featuring Roc-a-Fella soldier, Freeway.

The Beatnuts are more talented on the boards too, which could change bc it looks as if Lil Fame has some ill beats.
Beatnuts rhyme skills are VERY mediocre and althrouth their beats are VERY ill, Lil' Fame from M.O.P. stepped it up on "Warriorz" and made M.O.P. that much more all around.
I still go with the Beatnuts bc I like their style and shit, as with M.O.P.'s......i dont know its just something about them Corona Queens dudes.

The Beatnuts (JuJu and Psycho Les minus Fashion aka Al Tariq) are long-time contributors to the hip-hop culture.
The Beatnuts are not your average former-cub-scouts-turned-rap evangelists.
On their previous releases, the Beatnuts had a tendency to slack off sometimes, which yielded some mediocre tracks.

:: MVRemix Reviews: The Beatnuts - Milk Me ::
With an arrangement of funky keys and enticing trumpets, The Beatnuts pull of a perfect throwback track.
While "Milk Me" is another consistent album from The Beatnuts, it does suffer from a few filler tracks.
With "Milk Me", The Beatnuts prove they are one of Hip Hop's most consistent groups.

Criminal Records - The Beatnuts : Milk Me [Edited] *
On 2004's MILK ME, the Beatnuts' seventh record, Juju declares he's "never been much for words," and while this is debatable (as both he and Psycho Les can break out some memorable lines), it's never been the lyrics that have drawn hip-hop followers to the Beatnuts by the thousands.
The Beatnuts' lyrical fierceness is present, but, more often than not, the words fade into the backdrop, serving as another element to fuel the head-nodding beats.
The Beatnuts boast a remarkable consistency, and MILK ME continues their tradition of releasing powerful, engaging hip-hop records.

The Beatnuts: Milk Me - PopMatters Music Review
But where Premo and Rock were like the wise, quiet uncles, the Beatnuts were like the annoying, sleazy cousins who, despite their age, scam on anything and everything with two breasts and a pair of legs.
The Beatnuts have no illusions about their place in the wide, wide world of hip-hop posturing, and, in fact, they thrive on dropping "high school rhymes" that owe as much to porn (as well as Funkdoobiest and 2 Live Crew) as they do to party bangers and the NYC school of hip-hop.
And this is the fate of the record: while hip-hop is progressing in a thousand directions, the Nuts sound sterile.

The Beatnuts :: Take it or Squeeze It :: Loud Records
For the rap group known as The Beatnuts, the formula's remained the same since the underground classic Intoxicated Demons EP: drink, smoke, have a lot of sex and rap about it over dope ass beats.
The reason that the Beatnuts have never truly blown up remains mysterious; dope ass production and uncomplicated yet often humorous lyrics usually equal record sales in the rap genre.
Still, the album as a whole was labeled as disappointing and wrought with filler by the group's loyal fans.

Beatnuts Ya'll!" hyping up the chorus, after admissions of stealing sides of vinyl for their breaks, and calling sucker DJ's "snuffleupagus."
While these cats talking about their proficiency on the mic is kinda like Chris Dudley bragging about shooting better than Shaq at the line, the beat, as the beat usually does on a Beatnuts track, makes you forgive it all, and actually think it's better than it has any right to be.
The same goes with "Reign of the Tec," one of the tracks that REALLY got the Beatnuts noticed, with the infectious chorus "When I pop the trunk, HIT THE DECK!" and Sadat X sampled on the chorus/title.

My favorite tracks from the record would have to be “Beatnuts Forever” and “Muchachacha.” These are the kind of songs that you put on repeat until they make you sick for a while, but then inevitably make you play ‘just one more time.’
Although Musical Massacre is not the latest from The Beatnuts it is arguably one of my favorites.
The only problem that I had with the CD is that now it is almost too scratched to play several of the songs.

Crazed Latino / New Yorkan producers "The Beatnuts" are back with the smash hit "Watch Out Now" taken from their forthcoming Long Player
It is impossible to avoid the catchy loop and the easy-going chorus "Watch out now, make money, make money" and the track's anthem quality will surely have anyone forget that it is interspersed with rhyming about "bitches' asses".
B-side "Turn it out" is far less convincing but this is no reason for ignoring any longer one of 99's best instant Hip-Hop classic.
