Chateau Beaulieu, with 220 hectares of vines planted in the heart of the immense extinct volcano crater of “La Trévaresse”, at an altitude of 350 metres, is one of the most expansive domains in the region under the appellation "Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence".
In addition to the soil of a clayey-calcareous nature, a major part of the vineyards are planted on volcanic soil characterised by the presence of basalt which endows our wines with a unique quality.
With a surface area of 22 hectares, the vineyard hosts traditional grape varieties, essentially grenache, syrah and cabernet sauvignon for red and rosé wines and sauvignon, ugni white and rolle for white wines.
