When you enter Beaulieu, take the canal on the left to avoid a very nasty dam where your boat may be seriously damaged.
The first rapid is rather heavy and we all get wet, some rapids further downstream we see a Dutch couple who hit a rock and the man's arm was badly injured because he hit the rock while holding on to his capsized canoe.

A lot of works has been done to let "Le Manoir de Beaulieu" like it is now, a very pleasant and warm place: The rooms have been completly renovated last winter with nice colors, wood on the flor, news bath/shower rooms, news beds, it's a mix between a rustic, and modern style.
The lounge is real appreciated by guests for the chimney and its stone column; the restaurant room got thoses gold and red colors, the atmospher is always very special.
In Beaulieu, people have the possibility to visit the midle age square, and the very nice church from the same XII century.
