I Know it might be to late, but I have a neighbor that I am helping out right now who is parapalegic and he had a bed sore on his back side.
I have him drinking "silver wain water and applying silver water gel to the sore, it healed in one week,,we are working on his leg wound too, he just stays to long in his chair and the water retention in his leg is preventing it from healing as quickly.
It is releasing lots of fluids so the doctors want to keep it dry and aired out, which means she is to spend very little time up, doing what she can w/ the limitations already imposed.
