There is a small playground for the kids but not much other space and ours spent most of the time in the stream.  As others have said the 11pm rule does seem to work and the site was quiet by 11:30 at the latest.
The Beddgelert Forest Holidays experience was a good one you can pitch basically were u want so  we pitched right next to the river which was noisy at night,but great to get up to in the morning.
The showers blocks and toilet blocks were clean and enough for everyone & facilities to wash clothes and pots were there to use when u wanted,there is a common room which is heated and a play area for childern.

Before the Festiniog Railway laid hands on Russell regrettably to butcher it, the engine ran the whole Welsh Highland system for a while, still fitted with the Westinghouse brake pump, and with the inevitable sandbox on the front.
The partially glazed tourist coach adjacent to Russell is similar to the now-restored Gladstone Coach.

From this point the trackbed loses height rapidly, plunging through Beddgelert Forest in the process, at gradients as steep as 1 in 40, passing the former halt of Hafod Ruffydd.
At the end of the S-bend the railway makes its third and final crossing of the roadway and the Nant Cwmcloch, on a quite high embankment; thus the road crossing is by an overbridge, as opposed to level crossings at the others higher up.
In and around Beddgelert, there are a number of railway features that were not actually used by the Welsh Highland, most obviously the bridge over the road near the Royal Goat Hotel, and the abutments of an incomplete bridge standing in open country.
