Bedok Town is bounded by Bedok Reservoir Road, Kaki Bukit Avenue 1, New Upper Changi Road, Bedok South Road and Simei Avenue.
It is served by the Bedok MRT Station and the Bedok Bus Interchange at the town centre.

Bedok is one of the early native place names in existence around the time of Sir Stamford Raffles.

Bedok Reservoir (Chinese: 勿洛蓄水池) is located in the eastern part of Singapore, to the north of Bedok New Town, at latitude 1.34N, longitude 103.92E.
Bedok Reservoir was constructed under the Sungei Seletar/Bedok Water Scheme, completed in 1986.
Bedok Reservoir is now open to water sports activities such as wakeboarding, sailing, canoeing and kayaking.
