 | | As you read previously, our BAUM family branch is “originally” from Wyszogrod, and in about 5 years of research I was able to construct a BAUM family tree back to 1730, the longest I have so far, ten generations back from my children. |
 | | Three years ago (1997) I went on a visit to the archives of Katowice (where the Bedzin vital data are deposited) and looked at the original B/M/D books: Itzhak Meir’s birth is not registered there (and none of his brothers or sisters is either). |
 | | I may have omitted that by mistake, as the Cyrillic records are a real challenge for me. Like most, if not all, of the extractors in the SIG Journal, we are self-taught, so I never lose sight of the fact that I may have made errors.The children were all listed as from Checiny. |
