		The Model 76 Duchess was one of a new class of light four place twins developed in the mid 1970s.
		The Duchess was positioned between the Bonanza and the Baron in the Beechcraft model range.
		Beech developed the Duchess for low cost, high volume production, but the falling popularity of light twins, an economic recession and crippling product liability laws in the USA all contributed to a relatively short production run which wound up in 1982.

	SAIB ANE-99-23
		This SAIB is applicable to owners/operators of Piper PA-44-180 Seminole and Beech Duchess 76 aircraft with two blade Hartzell Propeller models HC-C2YR-2().
		It was reported that this propeller had several loose hub bolts and the low pitch stop had been replaced five times in recent history (possibly related to loose spinner attachment/hub bolts).
		The Beech Duchess 76 is another twin-engine trainer similar to the Piper PA-44-180 Seminole.

		I have a ryanair assessment (i am taking my own lube) coming up soon and I know they they are going to ask me technical questions on the aircraft I did my MEIR in: a Duchess.
		I passed my IR back in Sept 2005 and haven't flown one since so my knowledge of the aircraft is sketchy at best.
