Beef noodle soup was created by the Hui people (a Chinese Muslim group) (回族) of the Tang Dynasty era of China, beef noodle soup (Chinese: 牛肉麵; pinyin: niúròu miàn; POJ: gû-bah mī) is composed of beef stew, vegetables and noodles.
Serve the noodles and vegetables with the stew.
Certain sources argue that the modern form of the Chinese beef noodles was actually invented in Gangshan Village, Kaohsiung County by Republic of China airforce personnel who fled to Taiwan from Sichuan (Taipei Beef Noodle Festival website).
