Stallman's Speech at National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India, 17 February 2004 - GNU Project - Free Software ...
There is freedom two, which is the freedom to distribute copies to others, in other words the freedom to help your neighbor.
There are just a hundred thousand of you why should I care." But with free software, there is a free market for support and if the developer isn't interested in what you want some body else will be, especially if you have some money to pay.
But there would be no way they could guarantee that the source code they are looking at in the server, is the same thing that is running on their own machines.

Steve Tozer - Two Texts in Philosophy of Education
One good case of this, as you might expect, is the final chapter on Feminism, Philosophy, and Education, though there are many other examples - such as when she wrestles with the ambiguities of Dewey's conception of growth as an ideal and offers her own take on how to make sense of that notion.
Part of the appeal of this volume is that it could only have been assembled through the collective expertise of many, many people (over 180 authors), and we are given a single, readable location through which to become acquainted with knowledge and ways of knowing outside our own.
One inference that might be drawn from Noddings's treatment is this: that the concern for making a difference in practice is characteristic of philosophy of education, of feminist philosophy of education in particular, and still more for the ethic of caring.

 about:how_to_start_a_page · The Design Encyclopedia
There is no intuitive way to start a page on a Wiki, here are the two possible ways (which become easy after they’ve been done a couple of times):
So, for example, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is a link with no content, if you were to click on it you would be taken to a page that reads “This topic does not exist yet”, you can then create content for this page by clicking on the upper-left button that reads “Create this Page”.
Some content has been gathered from existing sources and has not been altered in any way; in most cases the source is attributed.

 Hwa Rang Do: History
Along with these historians, there are a number of people throughout the martial art community that have also made false claims about their own martial art and its relationship with the ancient Hwarang system.
In the modern time there has been an explosion of dishonorable practitioners that have been expelled from their art, are betrayers, or are video tape "practitioners" who all never learn the basics of the honorable way of martial arts, and only copy fighting techniques.
There is so much to learn it has taken people without any previous training between 5-10 years before they are ready to test for their first dan.

 Ross Mayfield's Weblog: wiki
There is something big going on here and a lot of these talks are about trying to figure it out.
There are many different types of risk including basis risk, country or sovereign risk, credit risk, currency risk, economic risk, inflation risk, liquidity risk, market or systematic risk, political risk, settlement risk, systemic risk and translation risk.
There are plans to create a stable branch (basically tagging a revision as reviewed, although review processes are still experimental, while letting users continue to edit new revisions), which would result in a truely comparable product and support print versions.

The Stuff What Been Done A'fore
Okay this is where the archives have been moved.
I've been working semi-regularly on it since then and have now built a little encyclopedia of places, people and things.
This was made in response to someone I know on a far away forum, he said foamy looked like a cat and he wanted to know if there was a FAQ about that particular detail.
