		But such a premise would only hand them a first album sympathy wave and the good vibes they have succeeded in producing ever since are down not to that tide of emotion and backslapping for not giving up, but on the fact that they make bloody fantastic pop tunes.
		The other thing that Being Somebody shows is that the five piece are happy to hold their hands up their limitations.
		Of course, the Richard X collaboration Being Nobody stands out as the classic chunk of wonder fluff it is, but there's enough fire and emotion amongst the remaining 15 tracks to support the further ambitions of the group.

	Liberty X - Being Somebody
		The late, unlamented Hear'say may have won the Popstars crown, but it's Liberty X who have proved the more durable act and this album, the follow-up to last year's multi-platinum Thinking It Over, proves there's still plenty of gas in the tank.
		Kicking off with a rather cheesy and unnecessary intro, the album moves straight into high gear with the monster hit singles, Jumpin' and Being Nobody, and rarely lets the pace flag throughout the remaining 13 tracks.
		Of course it's been put together by a veritable army of arrangers, writers and producers but, unusually, this clinical approach results in some of the most memorable pop tunes you are ever likely to hear.

		Maybe it's something to do with being major begrudgers but lets be honest, everyone loved it when things went belly-up for Hear’say.
		‘Being Somebody’ is their second platter and has been preceded by two credible singles, the Richard X collaboration ‘Being Nobody’ and the Neptunes-esque ‘Jumpin’.
		That said, ‘Being Somebody’ is a well-produced mix of slinky r’n’b with more than a nod to the American market (where Virgin Records seemingly have high hopes for Liberty X) and a number of radio-friendly ballads; ‘Forever’ in particular conjuring up thoughts of a Christmas single.
