		Belcourt Castle is the former summer cottage of Oliver Hazard Perry Belmont, located in Newport, Rhode Island.
		Belcourt passed to ninety-year-old Perry Belmont, the eldest Belmont child and Alva's brother-in-law.
		Belcourt Castle is the third residence mansion in Newport, after The Breakers and Ochre Court.

		The castle rests on a four foot thick slab of concrete, and the exterior walls of brick and granite are 42" thick.

		The desire to build a castle, for an American, is essentially the same as the desire to make any other art, but in a massive, bold, and not at all recognized as 'art' way.

		I've heard there is a castle in W. Paterson NJ called Lambert castle, but heard one report that it has been condemned.
		There is a castle in West Orange, NJ called the Pleasantdale Chateau Castle, and they do hold weddings there.
		Another castle that holds weddings is the Belcourt Castle, but it is in Newport, Rhode Island.
