Canadian aeronautics group Bombardier has sold Northern Ireland's Belfast City airport to Spanish construction company Ferrovial for £35m sterling, both companies announced on Saturday.
Ferrovial said it had also negotiated a 125-year concession to run the Belfast airport, which employs about 800 people and has just opened a new terminal.
It said the airport was no longer a 'core part of its business strategy'.
