 | | On the Court of Justice, the Belgian Government favours strengthening the role of the Court by scrapping all the limits imposed on its jurisdiction in the new fields of cooperation under the Treaty, particularly as regards cooperation in the fields of justice and home affairs. |
 | | Finally, on the language system, the Belgian Government does not want to change the arrangements in the Union's institutions and bodies even in the event of enlargement, to ensure that Union citizens will always be able to use their own language and receive a reply in their own language, in their relations with other citizens. |
