I am not used to sleeping at the airports, and it is not something I usually do, but this was definitely not an unpleasant experience.
Belgrade airport is something I would highly recommend to anyone who has a choice of which airport in the region to go to.
The airport is supposed to be closed during the night, but I managed to stay there.

I was in Belgrade airport 15 and 18th of Oct. I saw no improvement made highlighted by the others in the report.
Belgrade airport is currently modernising but it is reasonably good at the moment, new airlines like Tunisair, Snowflake and Uzbekistan Airways have opened up routes to there.
Belgrade Airport is undergoing heavy expansion and reconstruction works which are scheduled to be finished by May 2004.

BELGRADE (AP)--DynCorp International LLC has won a tender to build a new cargo terminal at Belgrade airport, worth $60.6 million, airport authorities said Thursday.
The sprawling terminal of 206,700 square meters, just outside the Serbian capital, is expected to be completed by 2009 although parts of it will be operational already within a year, the Belgrade Airport Managing Board said in a statement.
Belgrade newspapers ran headlines calling the deal a "A shameful tender," and saying "Dubious firm gets major airport job" in response to speculation that Dyncorp would win the bid.
