		He is quite arrogant and haughty around both Keiichi and the goddesses most of the time (usually referring to the goddesses save for Belldandy, as "idiots") but at the same time he has helped them out on a few occasions.
		In the most recent chapter Belldandy learns that Velspar can talk, but it is under the lie of him being a Demon World Cat that has come to Earth to study Earth cats (this was Urd's idea apparently).
		Belldandy seems to believe Velspar's story without second thought, but one can't always be sure what Belldandy is thinking or what she is aware of.
